Friend gifted me a game for Xbox by accident - I don't have an XBOX - want to refund him

After submitting, wait for an email on the status of your refund. You should get one within 72 hours and if your request is approved, you'll get your money back soon after. Refunds are processed in 3 - 5 days.

Keep in mind that if you redeemed the code, the purchase will no longer be eligible for a refund.

Did your friend gifted you the wrong item by accident? You might want to contact your friend and official support for a possible refund.

I am asking for anyones help/advice again on this topic. The refund team keeps denying me a refund on a game I can't play that I purchased by accident. I purchased the windows version by accident instead of the xbox. I can't play windows games having
MacOS (no I don't have a windows emulator).

Yeah, but then what is the point of gifting games? The idea is if my friend in the US is lacking funds and I want him to be able to play that game with me I should be able to gift him the digital copy there and then.
