Friend can't here me on skype.

On my xbox one I have downloaded the skype application and have created a xbox skype account, When I call my friend who is on a pc I can hear him, but he can hear me, any solutions?

Btw Playback has been checked he can here people who call from pc to pc but not xbox to pc.

I am using the default mic that came with my xbox.

Skype doesn't work often

I am having issues with Skype. Sometimes my calls aren't received by friends, sometimes I can't answer their calls, and sometimes I get several notifications for a single Skype call. Generally when I get several notification from a single Skype call, I
can't answer the call. I'll select either Answer or Answer without video, and it'll take me to Skype, but it won't connect the call.

Do you own the Kinect? if so have you tried that? Also can you speak to other people from the Xbox Skype App?

It sounds like its a problem on his side of things if he cant hear from any Xbox to PC

It may sounds silly but just make sure he or yourself don't have each other muted (I have found i have accidentally done this before!)

Then i would advise you both uninstall the app and reinstall it and see if this helps, if it doesn't then please advise your friend to contact Skype Support and yourself contact Xbox Support on:
support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

it might also be your mic isn't put in all the way. it might also be that your monitoring is too low for it to get enough sound to pick it up. also, try to unplug the mic and replug it to see if it workes. i have the same thing since i got my new headset.
