    Frequently wont load games, restart or turn on - Xbox One X


    Bit of an odd mix of issues here.

    First noticed yesterday on two occasions, I turned on the controller and the console didn't boot, I pressed the console power and it made the chime but didn't light or come on at all. Switching the mains power resolved this.

    Also had on around 5 occasions '(whatever game) took too long to load' and will refuse to open any game until the console is reset. Which brings me to my next issue.

    Whenever I choose to 'restart' my console, the screen goes blank but the console stays lit up as if it's on, it sits like this indefinitely.

    All of these issues are resolved by switching it's main power - could this be some sort of Caching error?

    Most likely yes but the xbox one wont be future proof aka wont be able to play certain games in the future the xbox one x will be it will eventually turn into an older console but still will be able to play the game the series x can

    I have unistalled the game and re installed the game.

    Also did the the xbox full shutdown and restart.

    Game is digital

    world is loading in and only loads part of the map and freezes and wont load anything else

    Arranged for return under warranty, just to recap, it wont update online, it will update offline, then after no other issues playing games etc, will restart if set to always on, it wont restart after a full shut down, the xbox one x intro movie doesn't
    play, goes straight to trouble shoot screen.

    The Xbox One X will scale the video to what the TV will present. While you wont be playing in 4K a lot of the benefit is in the processing power as well so games play better and load faster.
