Frequent internet issues with xbox one s

I have a good wireless connection but why does my xbox suddenly lose internet connection and then when i reconnect its fine? Also, another annoying thing is sometimes my wireless internet doesnt seem to connect automatically when i turn on my xbox so i have
to manually put in the password 40% of the time when i turn on my xbox please help!

there could be several issues at play here. Simple first though- reboot your router/modem and see if that resolved the issue for the time being. if not:

log into the router and clear out the DHCP to release the IP back into the wild, you may have the lease set to a long period and the machine can get an IP until the master device comes online, which then kicks you.

I would try manually changing the DNS settings in your Xbox for better connectivity.

You may not be able to but a wired connection is always going to be best. I was using a wifi connection and with one device I was having no issues. But when I added several more devices I started having issues. There were device conflicts and I would
have to re add the wifi password every couple of days. It may be a router configuration issue. Also try port forwarding, this will give your xbox a dedication connection.

I would invest in a wifi extender if you're indeed far away from the router.
