Discus and support Freesync in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Is there any info about Freesync on Xbox One X? I couldn't find anything about it, I have a 4K monitor with Freesync throught HDMI, but I have no idea... Discussion in 'XBoX on Consoles' started by URBAND SOLDIER, Feb 16, 2018.

    Is there any info about Freesync on Xbox One X? I couldn't find anything about it, I have a 4K monitor with Freesync throught HDMI, but I have no idea if a can active freesync or not.

    Any information will be appreciated.

    Freesync and freesync 2 spring update

    so i just got my spring update. I bought a asus vp28uqg 4k gaming screen with freesync just because i wantet to play my games with freesync.

    How come i cant turn my freesync on now that the one x suports freesync? I think i have freesync 1 and i toght that microsoft where suporting both freesync 1 and 2.

    If it is how do i turn it on?

    FreeSync on an older Xbox One (not X or S)?

    Yes, all Xbox One models will be getting Freesync support. At the time of this posting, Freesync is available in ALL preview rings right now, so if you're in the Insider Program and you have a Freesync-supported display, this should be worth checking out
    and testing.

    One thing to note is there is a slight difference with the Freesync support on the different console models though:

    • The Xbox One S/X will get Freesync 2 support (with HDR).
    • The original Xbox One will get Freesync support (the first version of Freesync).

    Freesync

    AMD Freesync is apparently supported according to the
    Xbox One X webpage     (see "Tech Specs").

    You will need to enable it through your monitor's settings.

    Well I have an Xbox one X with the Spring Update plus an Asus VP28UQG 4k freesync-capable monitor, and it ain't working on my set-up.

    Xbox one s 1440p 120hz problems

    Hi,

    This monitor only supports 100Hz over HDMI with FreeSync turned ON (higher via Display Port).

    With FreeSync OFF this monitor does support 1440p @ 120Hz as per the Manual and LG support.

    This makes means that with FreeSync ON you will be limited to 60Hz with xbox. Can you try turning off FreeSync via the Monitor and/or untick Variable Refresh Rate on the xbox. Hopefully this makes 120Hz available to you.
