    now I have been having serious issues ever since I got my xbox in terms of wanting the free trail and my god I cant even get into Microsoft account for that simple issue with xbox 360 live and I don't want to wait is there anyway to simly bypass all that
    email crap and just get the code from the xbox site now I want to try the 14 day trial before I decide to buy the membership and well that is the issue I have interms of doing evdrything right and to find out I have to wait so pl help me

    i just subscribed to XBOX LIVE GOLD MEMBERSHIP 1 month trial. On Pc in my microsft account i can see my subscription but not on console.

    When you claim the free trial month with gold from your console it doesn't appears for the trial membership doesn't offers all the perks of a paid gold membership.

    Yes, you certainly can. The bottom of a 2 Day Gold Pass states the following:

    XBOX LIVE 2-Day gold Membership, free trial allows access to these Gold features: online multiplayer gaming, Netflix, ESPN on XBOX Live, Facebook, free game demos, exclusive discounts, promotions and video content.

    Free 2-day trial offer is only for use on the XBOX 360 and is not valid for current XBOX Live Gold Members. At the end of your 2-day trial period, your membership will default to the FREE XBOX Live Membership, unless you elect to extend your XBOX Live Gold
    Membership.

    Now what this doesn't tell you is that you cannot play in ranked matches with the trial membership, but you are free to play in social matchmaking playlists for games.

    Klokkwork is correct trials are not considered gold membership anymore it use to but not anymore you should still be able to play online and join partys with your friends like you have gold but features like a free game for gold does not include in your

    Just bought GOLD but it still says that I am Free

    I am assuming the 14 days of gold is a free trial as microsoft do not sell 14 day gold memberships.. Free trials do not give you access to all the gold features. This is meant to be used to test the xbox live features. If you want access to gold exclusive
    demos and access apps that require gold membership you will need to purchase a proper gold membership.
