Free trial and $1 promotion

I'm pretty sure you cannot get another free trial if you've already had one. There is a 1 month for $1 promotion going at the moment though. That's so cheap it's basically free.

Even if you don't have the free trial, you can still purchase the 3 months for 1 dollar of the current promotion.

If you have used a game pass trial before or have taken advantage of one of the promotions such as 1 month / $1 you will be charged even if you see the free trial prompt because you have already redeemed a game pass promotion. If you believe this is an error

Xbox Gamepass goes through several different promotions over the year. The free trial you are referring could be an old promotion. I believe the current one is first 3 months for $1.

Hello whitecarpet59, if you purchased it BRAND NEW, (not referb) the console comes with 3 free 1 month trials. To get one of these free trials you have to make a brand new xbox account, from the console. There will come a part in the set up, where it trys
to promote you to gold, select "no thanks" and it will give you one of the 1 month free trials. If that is the way you did it, I would try to get an exchange from game stop.
