Free Gamertag Change? [Used one already]

Hi,

I would like a free Gamertag change if this is possible? When I record videos on YouTube it's awkward when my channel has a different name to my channel (I'm not planning on changing my channel name)

I was referred here by an Xbox Support Person.

Hello There,

Demoniakki When An Xbox Live Member Chooses An Xbox Gamer-Tag, They Have The Full Rights To Keep That Gamer-Tag Even Know If They Have Been Inactive For Years Along With
No Gamer-Score & No Gold Membership, You Will Not Be Able To Request For The Gamer-tag To Be Forced Changed. The Owner Of The Gamer-Tag Must Change It Himself Or When a forced gamertag change is imposed due to the Gamer-Tag Violated The Code Of Conduct In
Any Sort Of Way, If the gamertag you enter is already taken, you are prompted to try another gamertag.
Note One thing to remember is that spaces and capitalization don’t make your Gamer-Tag unique. For example, “”, “PR1NCEDARKNESS”, and “” They Are All The Same Gamer-Tags.

Gamertag already used

Hi,

I would like to change my Gamertag, but the Gamertag is already used by someone. I check his profile and he doesn't have an avatar, no games and no sucess. Is this account considered as inactive? If he his, can the Support change his Gamertag so I can change
it?

No as you have a custom name already it is only for new accounts with randomly generated namrs

You've already used your free gamertag change.

When you first start your account you are given a randomly generated gamertag which you can change to a personal one for free.

If you were charged Microsoft points 7 or 8 years ago then you had already used your free change back then.

You are incorrect. Back then there were NOT any free gamertag changes. I was never given a free gamertag change. All you need to do is check my account and you'll see.

Hi there, if you're not able to use a free gamertag change, that means the system recognizes that your account:

a): already used a one-time free gamertag change

and/or

b): you didn't choose an auto-generated gamertag upon account sign-up.

In this case, we're afraid you'd have to pay for a gamertag change.

You get one free gamertag change.When you create a account you are given a random gamertag,you can change from that random tag to one of your choosing for free.

As you have already used your one time free name change any other changes must be paid for.
