    Fraud charges and Zero response from Microsoft XBox support for weeks


    I have reported a fraudulent charge and activity on my account a couple of weeks ago and Microsoft have just gone quiet, nothing and every time I email the agent (Carlos) no response. Can it really be that they are this sh*t? I don't even have an Xbox!! Someone used my old microsoft account to make the transaction. I am running out of ideas as the call back servcie is also constantly down/not working. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Hmm sometimes support can be saturaeted but usually the chat via does it. Have you checked your junk folder as well?

    Do you have access to that old account?

    If not then In these type of cases you should go to your financial entity and dispute the charges to block them as well.

    This is because access is mandatory to issue any refund or cancel anything from Xbox´s side :(

    Thanks for the suggestion, but the payment method use (or who it went through) has nothing to do with issue.

    A case has already been logged over two weeks ago. I submitted all the information they asked for to recover account access, for me to dispute the charges, and for me to delete it so that the person who has hacked it is kicked off, but Microsoft are clearly not taking this kind of thing very seriously.

    My question is really more around how you get in touch with them? They are ignoring emails and the chat function is a joke + when you try to leave your number for them to call you back, it just comes up saying they don't do calls right now.

    P.s. I am not an Xbox gamer, therein lies the irony. Something Microsoft should have been able to spot immediately.

    And just the typical BS response I have come to expect. “Try the self help, we promise we aren’t attempting fraud”. There are still attempts being made to charge my card despite support techs stating there wouldn’t be. I have ZERO trust left for this company
    or in anything any representative of it says.
