    Fps very low while playing Valorant


    I am using a HP Envy x360 with AMD Ryzen 7 4th gen, I used to get around a 100fps in the game but these days when I started playing I'm only getting fps in 20s or 30s, the game is getting stuck, game is not smooth at all. I have checked all the settings, graphics are set to low, laptop is not at a very high temp, tried reinstalling as well but nothing worked

    FSO and FPS Cap on all of my games.

    Because in some games like valorant for example, frame timings are better when you have the game uncapped, and therefore provides the edge. I get anywhere from 500-600 in valorant, obviously is a crazy amount of fps but would be nice to have the option to play uncapped you know?

    Every game is the same

    Don't take this as an insult but you seem to have a pretty short attention span. After looking through your game history and judging by your low completion percentage, it seems that you get bored very easily. You have completed very little games and the
    ones you have completed are all FPS's. Expand your horizon a bit and stay away from the FPS's for a while, give other genres a chance!

    what res are you playing at to get 500 to 600, even 3080 cards wont go that high unless your playing sub 720 at low everything. you would get that in the menu or in very plain parts of training but in game online then how.

    I have a the same cpu as you with a 3080ti and 64gb ram. valorant bounces around 300 to 430 at 1080p on low i get 300 to 330 on 1440p ultra tops so a 2080s will be a little less or a lot more less.

    Horrendous framerate in split screen multiplayer.

    I have Xbox Slim 250, and when i play with my friend in split screen mode on a big open map, i get very low FPS.

    I don't have this issue with Halo reach.

    Hiya!

    I don't generally play music while playing game as I mostly play FPS and need to hear the game noises to play effectively. Now if I'm playing something like a fishing sim, I will generally have something a little upbeat playing low.
