"Foxy" a banned word for your gamertag?

I try to put "Foxy" in my gamertag, but it says it is not allowed. "Fox" works, but "foxy" does not in any combination. I then see many people using gamertags with the word "foxy" in it, including using the new gamertag system. Why does it not work for
me, but it does for other people?

Yeah, that's the main reason I'm confused. There are hundreds of other people with "foxy" in their gamertag, many even using the new system (which means they changed it very recently) yet I can't use it in any context.

Its not that, even if i put anything at all with the word "foxy" in it, it doesn't work. Even if i just put "foxy" by itself. Plus the same gamertags work if you substitute "foxy" with "fox."

Was their any other word/phrase combination in the gamertag you wanted to create that may have also been a trigger for it to not be accepted? While 'foxy' could be considered inappropriate in some circumstances, for it being a sort of slang/synonym for beautiful
etc, in the context you'd be trying to use it in I personally don't see a reason why you couldn't.

Are there any other people with the exact spelling of the gamertag you're trying to/is it over the new 11 character limit? You could check this out for some pointers.

Keep in mind you can't include as gtag phrases that can be misinterpreted or that violate copyright terms.
