Found a new random email linked to my daughters xbox live account. possible hack. how to fix

Not necessarily. Some other forums show email addresses in profiles for contact info. So a forcebot can then go to the login site and start spamming random passwords. If the password itself is weak it'll get in.

Another possibility is if it was associated wtih any site or forum that was hacked a few months back with info that was stolen. If the person didn't change their password after that, that's another possibility.

Unless your email account for your Xbox LIVE account is _only_ used for your Xbox LIVE account, it can likely be found somewhere.

Hoping I understand the issue correct, the following steps might be an option:

These steps should allow you to switch around the primary email addresses connected to both accounts

(this won't change any purchase/services linked to the MS account, only the primary email)

in order to achieve that, it might be possible to use a 3rd (temporary) email address (Microsoft Account).

Currently both email addresses have a MS and Xbox Live Account.

If you change the primary email for the account with the email address you want to use on your MS account connected to Random GT account to that new 3rd email address, that should result in the Celts12085 email to be free and after that you should be able
to change the primary email address connected to the Aragorn12085 account to Celts12085 email address.

Keep in mind that None of these accounts should be logged in on any device while doing this, so not on Windows PC, Phone or console etc. The reason for that is, that if they are signed in at anything related to Windows (10) it could result in a new Xbox
Live Account (with random GT) being generated.

Yes...but when I got the Xbox, I'm not sure how "B" (my daughter) was created...bot sure it was linked to a specific email address

The problem is my daughter can't do it under her account on the Xbox...but she is 18 now

I made an account. tried to link it with my xbox but someone was already using my email. it because you have to have an email to create an account but you don't have to have a password for the account. and some people already have an old gamer tag linked
to there email so.. they type in random email addresses until they find someone's account. this has been happening for years. I don't know how it hasn't been fixed

I want to link my Activision account Xbox account, and it is actually already linked,, but the email is a old email that was hacked from over 10 years ago, the recovery email is some random email I never have seen before. I want to change it, I have full access to my Xbox account and the email of the Xbox account, but I don’t have the activision Email that is linked to my Xbox account, so right now it’s forever linked with no way to change, which is crazy, I have full access of my Xbox account no I can’t change it? Their has to be a way, i tried activision with support tickets and that didn’t work, and I don’t know how to ask for help on Microsoft’s end.

Only Activision would be able to help with this since the linking/unlinking process occurrs on their end so Microsoft wouldn't be able to help with this at all.
