FOUND A NBA 2K14 DLC CODE BUT SCARED TO REDEEM IT !!!???

OK everybody here is the deal. I found a code written on a piece of paper. Someone wrote NBA 2k14 right above it and I was curious so I tried to redeem it to see if it REALLY worked or if someone already redeemed it. To my surprise it did!!! It was DLC code
for the intire game on 360 & Xbox 1!!! Something told me to hit the BACK button and seek advice. This was to good to be true! My friend at Gamestop told me that it might have been stolen and I shouldn't redeem it. HE SAID I MIGHT GET BANNED IF I USE IT! He
told me to hit up Microsoft to see if it was okay to redeem it but I don't even know how to contact them. What should I do? I love my xbox1 and 360 to much to get banned for a code I found on the ground. Any advice? Microsoft if you see this, let me know what
to do!

You had to do this before March 31st, 2014 I believe... Don't confuse this with the Microsoftstore.com deal. As well as, Game Stop had their own version.

I'd suggest you don't redeem it. If it's a give away or anything like that, then that's fine in my opinion. I see that you have paid a lot through your Xbox experience, and I suggest you keep that code away from your profile. Would you risk hundreds of dollars
that you have paid for the things you've got, for a $10-$20 DLC, and not even a full game? Like for example, if you're looking to buy a PC that is cheaper (About 60$ cheaper), in a place, compared to another. And then when you get it for a lower price, form
an un trusted place, and realize everything is pirated, and the Windows version isn't genuine. It's better to pay for your items by yourself. Don't be like these fools out there who want to get everything for "FREEE".

 

It's 2 full games. It's the NBA 2K14 code. The guy @ gamestop says it's worth like 80 bucks. But I see your point DeathBladez808. I'll still call xbox support (thanx @onyx62is). I'm still not using the code unless they say it's ok.
