    Forza Won't Launch (On Steam)


    Hello, my game randomly stopped working, my direct X and everything is fine, The game was fine just a couple of days ago and i didn't do anything to the files nor change any settings in my pc but out of nowhere the problem started and tried doing some steps on the website (Forza's Form) but they didn't work since they didn't work, i have attached my event logs of the game and if you could check it out and tell me how to fix it i would truly appreciate it, And It's on my (D drive) not the main drive because i like to store my games in the other drive and not take up space in the main drive but tried putting them on both drives and neither worked and uninstalling didn't work either.

    This is the Files For Specs of my pc and event logs (I can't figure out)

    i have tried all the fixes you recommended here and uninstalled the game 5 times now and none worked.

    After analyzing the error information in the Event Viewer you provided, I found that the Forza Horizon 5 exception may be caused by a memory access violation/exception. Here are my tips for you!

    1. Memory Diagnostic

    Win + Q to open the search box, type "MdSched", press Enter to open the program, select "Restart now and check for problems(recommended)", then restart the system and start memory diagnosis.

    2. Automatic virtual memory management

    You may set the virtual memory to be managed automatically by the system. Win + R to open "Run", type "sysdm.cpl", press Enter to open 'System Properties"> "Advanced" tab > "Performance" > "Settings"> "Advanced" tab"> "Virtual memory"> "Change" , check "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives", and press Enter to confirm.

    3. Verify integrity of game files

    In the Steam client, right-click on Forza Horizon 5 in your library and select "Properties". Go to the "Local Files" tab and click on "Verify Integrity of Game Files". This will check the game files and replace any corrupted or missing files.

    4. Run the game as administrator

    Right-click on Forza Horizon 5 in your library and select "Properties". Go to the "Local Files" tab and click on "Browse Local Files". Right-click on ForzaHorizon5.exe and select "Run as Administrator".

    If the problem still exits, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the game.

    According to your log it may caused by the service WMI Performance Adapter problem.

    Maybe you can try to restart this service in Services.

    Then run cmd as administrator then enter these commands one by one:

    CD %windir%\system32
    Lodctr /R，
    Wait until you receive the following message:

    Info: Successfully rebuilt performance counter setting from system backup store

    Enter exit.
