Forza Motorsport 7 Update won't install

I've been told by email to post here so that my issue will be addressed as soon as possible.

The initial update that's needed to play Forza 7 doesn't install. The download works fine for the first 5% or 1.75GB but then stops once that is reached. The update itself is the issue, As I have tried everything else, even things suggested by the Xbox Support
team.

I have a case number is that helps, it is: SR 1400198128.

I bought the ultimate addition of the game and haven't been able to play at all since I picked the game up last Friday (29th Sept.). This has been extremely annoying and at present I feel like I have wasted my hard earned $140 on this game.

A: Forza Motorsport 7 is an Xbox Play Anywhere title – this means that DLC, achievements and progress will carry between Xbox One and Windows 10 so long as you use the same Xbox Live account that purchased a digital copy of the game.

Forza motersport 7/8

If possible can you pease add sydney motorsport raceway ( eastern creek track) to forza motorsport 7 as an update orbadd it to forza motersport 8?

Try clearing the cache from the console with the power cycle system: Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

Then try again with the installation of the update.

 

Already tried that. As well as completely resetting my xbox, clearing MAC and persistant storage. It's nothing to do with my console.

 

Hi, If you're installing from a disc this method may be helpful; Error Installing Xbox One Game

Take your console offline, cancel the download, and then power cycle the console. After you successfully install the game, go online and let the update download.

Step 1: Use your console offline

Follow these steps:

1. Scroll left on Xbox Home to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select Network.
5. Select Network settings.
6. Select Go offline.

Step 2: Cancel the download

1. On the Home screen, scroll to the right and open My games & apps.
2. Select Queue.
3. Highlight the game you’re trying to install.
4. Press the Menu button on the controller.
5. Select Cancel.

Step 3: Eject the game disc and power cycle the console

1. Eject the game disc.
2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
   Note Double-tapping the Xbox button will open the guide from any other screen on the console.
   
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Restart console.
5. Select Yes to confirm.

Note If you're unable to access the guide, or the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for about 10 seconds until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on
the console again to restart.

Step 4: Install the game

After the console restarts, insert the disc. Follow the steps to install the game.

Note Make sure you do this before you reconnect to the Internet.

Step 5: Go online and let the game update install

1. On the Home screen, scroll to the right and open My games & apps.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select Network.
5. Select Network settings.
6. Select Go online.

 

Thanks for the suggestion, but like I was predicating same issue. Downloaded update fine til it hit 1.75GB installed then stopped.
