    I bought Forza Motorsport 7 last year and my Xbox suggestions were that I needed a better PC, So I have bought an ASUS I7 Gaming Laptop and an I9 Alder Lake 12900k Desktop with an Nvidia 3080 video card and 64mb of DDR5 ram.

    Both new systems are running Windows 11, and neither will run the game... But if I pull the old Desktop out of mothballs and fire it up it runs slow but okay.

    I have spent a three day weekend cleaning out and re-installing software and talking to Xbox but there have been no solutions except to contact Turn 10 Studios.

    Has anyone else noticed an issue with Forza 7 and Windows 11?

    Immediately in the opening of the Splash Screen it crashes, this is for both of my Windows 11 Computers with Intel architecture.

    However, the 10-year-old Windows Professional AMD 10 core computer runs it fine even though Microsoft will not consider upgrading it to Windows 11. (Go figure)

    I purchased MS Flight Simulator Ultimate a couple of weeks ago while on sale, and it was erratic initially, But I did get it to co-operate with my I9 12900k Desktop with the Aorus 3800 Extreme video card at maximum settings.

    But it will not go one second into Forza Motorsport 7 without crashing, I have tried all of the tips I can find in the Forums such as repairing Xbox and the Microsoft Store as well as deleting and re-installing them. As well as spending hours on the phone with Xbox support, but it still never changes.

    Turn 10 Studios recommended turning off, and un-installing any software or drivers that run in the background and I have pretty much stripped everything out of the computer and the results are the same.

    At this point I might as well format the hard drive and start back out with my Windows 10 Professional 64 Software that I purchased and not let it "Upgrade?" me to 11 again and see if it might work.

    If you have any suggestions, I would be happy to entertain them!

    I tried high performance and power saving and both didn't work. I have installed the launcher for windows 10/11 but not windows 7/8.1. Do I need the windows 7/8.1 launcher considering my PC is running on Windows 11?
