Forza Motorsport 5 - Season Car Pass (£31.99)

Hi

I purchased the Season Car Pass for our fist and only Xbox One. My kid's share the Xbox one (was going to buy 2 more, but maybe not now!). I purchased the season pass but find that only one account (the one it was purchased on) can play the extra cars.

Being a bit dumb with this kind of thing and with the kids asking for the same pass on their accounts, I am confused as to why they are unable to play the season pass on their own names. I asked Xbox support who confirmed that I would need to purchase the
pack £31.99!) for each of the four accounts!

I'm not going to do that, it feels like a rip-off to have to do that.

This being the case, is this the same for other consoles, like the PS4?

Forza Motorsport 6 Car Pass Issue

Hey guys, here's another issue:

a lot of users cannot get all cars of this Season Pass, the description says: "With the Forza Motorsport 6 Car Pass, you’ll always be dialed in to the latest and greatest cars in Forza Motorsport 6. The Car Pass brings you six monthly car packs (7 cars each)
beginning in October 2015. That’s 42 amazing cars total, all waiting to be collected, customized, and raced, for one low price. Get the Forza Motorsport 6 Car Pass now!"

But users are only getting the first pack (7 cars), as you can see in this page the bad feedback:

Is there a known issue with this Season pass? Note, I'm not the one with the problem, I'm just reporting an issue that we could not find a solution, after trying all TS possible (restore console to factory settings, checking license in my games, etc)

Yes it's the same for PS4. Whilst people keep paying, the firms will keep taking - simple as that. I do agree, you shouldn't have to purchase 4 or 5 or 6 or however many in game purchases for different users of the same family/household/xbox - but there
we go, it is a nice little earner! (Yes it does feel like a rip-off)

 

Do you have the Xbox One set up as your home console? If so all should be able to access the DLC. They will just have to use in game credits to buy the cars.

 

yes it seems to be set up as the 'home' console. Playing the game which was downloaded is ok, but only the one account has access to the season pass, i.e, the cars that come with that pass. If they can be bought with 'in game credits' I guess the other
kids will have to earn what the one account has already purchased if that's possible. When it comes to this kind of thing I'm not too clever, all I know is the cars that came with the season pass are available only to the account it was purchased with - if
this makes sense.

I know what you mean... I think DLC and XBLA games should be tied to the specific system, not account. Darn, we even have to pay just to play online...

But you know M$, it's all business, and the business is making the most $ they can
