Forza Motorsport 4 showing open tray and not reading disc

So today I just came across and bought a still sealed copy of forza Motorsport 4 for the Xbox 360, I’ve been having troubles with the copy I had and when I put the new unused disc in it didn’t register a disc was in the tray, it’s not something wrong with the reader or anything like that because all my other games work, I’ve only ever had issues with FM4, if anyone has any idea why it’s doing this or has any suggestions they would be appreciated. Possibly, it still amazes me that neither of the copies I have of it work, like the one I have had reads that it’s FM4 but it says that it can’t read it when I start up the game. And of course it’s the game I want to play the most lol

most likely the disc is gone bad overtime, if every other disc is reading

No, just the 'Open Tray' message on the dashboard. I have already fixed RROD and a tray-opening problem, but I still can't get it to read discs... I will have a video showing the problem soon... It's currently uploading to YouTube at

im recently a new owner of Forza Motorsport 4 2 disc collecters edition, Disc 2 WILL NOT install. i follow the steps that r on screen and do wahts prompted too me. i insert disc 2 like im told, an it say insert DISC 2 so i eject disc 2 and reinsert it ,and
it again say insert disc 2 remove disc one. Disc one is not in the tray disc 2 is. so waht should i do?

The only problem i can read or tell is maybe the DVD Drive has a problem (4 lights flash when the disc tray is going to be open or close)
