    Forza Motors 7 - No Sound after the upgrade from Xbox One S to Xbox One X


    Hello,

    Recently, I upgraded to Xbox One X and downloaded the update from webstore for Forza Motors 7.

    During the updating, I was able to play the game, but there was no sound at all. After the completion of the download, still no sound.

    I played other games, but they work fine. Should I re-install the 1TB game? or request a replacment of Xbox One X? Here's my system.

    TV: Samung NU8000

    Soundbar: LG SJ9

    Connection: Xbox One X HDMI out-> SJ9 HDMI In

    SJ9 HDMI-out -> TV

    There was no sound issue when I played the game with Xbox One S.

    I really appreciate if you can advise regarding this issue.

    Thanks for reaching out to Xbox forums support.

    The fact that you're only having issues with the one game and all your other games are working fine suggests to me

    that it's may be an issue with that particular game's latest update.

    I would recommend
    Uninstalling and Reinstalling the Game from your console .

    That should resolve any glitch that may have occurred causing it to not have any sound.

    Try that and let us know how it goes!

    Sorry to hear about your issue. As recommended, try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Try not to interrupt the download. If that doesn't work, I recommend contacting the developer's tech support. I found some similar reports of loss of sound with
    this game, and they may have some suggestions.

    With one x gets HD upgrades when available
