    Forza, How to do CURVES?


    Hi there, Omega here.

    This is a post from a series of post about Piloting tips that I will bring to you here in the Xbox community.

    The theme of this tip is CURVES:

    Many beginner pilots make a lot of mistakes when they make a turn, they crash or decelerate the car too much.

    The best way to make a curve on the Forza be it Horizon or Motorsport is:

    1. If the curve is to the right open go to the left to enter into the curve from the right.
    2. Before getting started the curve release the gas pedal.
    3. Before the curve, open the curve to the opposite side of the curve. Example if the curve is to the right open go to the left to enter into the curve from the right.
    4. Slow down by using a brake but avoid lock the wheels.
    5. Change the gear.
    6. When you are already inside the curve within the point of tangency (late apex), and the car start gain stability, then Accelerate to exit to the curve for the other side.

    I played a game that left Forza feeling Flat..

    I do not agree. Forza does have a modelled acceleration curve (strictly the torque/power curve). There are plenty of cars that accelerate up to apoint and then die. When you look at the torque curve you understand why. I would suggest that Ferrari Legends
    over does the acceleration. And yes I have played it but deleted it off my list as I thought it was garbage.

    To add salt to the wound. The gamma curve is still skewed on the Xbox One S. I wonder how MS wants to do HDR with an incorrect gamma curve.

    Gamma curve skewed? This is the final straw M.S.! Will now sell my basement full of X Box One consoles and "invest" in something else...

    How in the world did they not update everyone's XP to fit the new curve (therefore updating everyone's levels to the new curve)? Those guys are brilliant at some things, bu in other aspects they are morons.

    How do you adjust the deadzones in the accessories app? as far as I can see you can only change the sensitivity curve and cant see any specific adjustment for deadzone.
