Forza Horizon download Error Code: 0x80070005 when it gets to 100%

I have been stuck with an Forza Horizon 5 launcher update error that prevents the game from finishing downloading. Something unexpected happened reporting this problem to Xbox will help us understand it better. you can wait a bit and try again or restart your device. that may help. Error Code: 0x80070005 no so far i have tried all sorts of fixes to try and get this to work. 1: Make sure Date, Time and Time Zone are correct. 2: Clear the windows store cache as it might be a cause for the issue and check. 3: Disable proxy Connection 4: Reset the Xbox application: 5: Change regional settings. my drivers and devices are up to date and as well as the apps required to run it. I have played many hours of this game please help me.

Thank you for that information. Please go to Settings > System > Storage > Advance Storage Settings > Where new content is saved. Kindly set the installation for apps to a different drive and see if that sorts out the issue.

Please try the steps one at a time to resolve the issue.

Solution 1: Repair the Gaming Services app.

Please go to Settings > Apps > Apps Features. Select Gaming Services, then click Advanced options. Click the repair button, try launching the game again using the Xbox app and see if it works.

Solution 2: Uninstall and reinstall the Gaming Services App

Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

Restart your device and try to install the game again.

Solution 3:

Go to the "This PC" section then enter the disc drive where you want to install the game.

Look for a folder titled "WindowsApps" then rename it to "WindowsApps.old" then restart your computer and check if that sorts out the issue.

If that doesn't work, look for a folder titled "WpSystem" then rename it to "WpSystem.old" and restart again. Let me know if it works.
