    Forza Horizon crash on Laptop steam version


    I can only play the game offline for 5 minutes and it freezes and closes the game automatically. For online when I go in and press continue game, 20 seconds after loading the game wait screen freezes and closes. but when running benchmarks very smooth. I tried changing my xbox account on my machine but it doesn't really work. I play FH4 through Steam. Please help me fix it.

    Forza Horizon 4

    Forza Horizon 4 on Steam is not the same as the PC/Xbox version. It is a seperate game with seperate steam achievements, so you will have to start again on the Steam version.

    Are you trying to use your Forza horizon 5 progress in the same platform?

    For example, the old laptop has the Steam version of the game and you have the Steam version as well in your new laptop

    I ask this because progress between the Microsoft store / Xbox app version of the game and Steam can't be shared

    You need to start from the scratch if you start playing using the other version
