Forza Horizon 5 progress lost after deleting and re-installing

Not only that, but I would like to ask if you tried downloading the most recent cloud saved data by following these steps on your PC:

Steam:
“Re-enable Steam cloud (Steam > Settings > Cloud), launch the game again through the Steam launcher and test if it works”.

Microsoft Store:
“Delete the local save file on your PC, Try deleting the \AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.624F8B84B80_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs folder on your local hard drive. After doing so, please reboot the computer and then restart the game. You should then be able to sync and play again.”

However, in case the issue persists, the Forza support is able to assist you with this. But it is important to keep this in mind:

“We will not be able to return any lost progress or return your old save. We will produce a 1:1 match to your inventory for Forza Horizon players.

Unfortunately, we will NOT be able to return any Forzathon Points, Skill Points, Level, Experience, Tokens, or Progress”.

If you are using Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and playing Forza Horizon 5 through the cloud gaming service, you should be able to delete your saved progress by doing the following:

1. Start the Forza Horizon 5 game on your Xbox console or through the cloud gaming service.

2. Navigate to the "Settings" menu in the game.

3. Select the "Manage Game" option.

4. Choose the "Saved Data" option.

5. Select the saved data for Forza Horizon 5 and choose the "Delete" option.

Keep in mind that deleting your saved progress will erase all of the progress you have made in the game, so make sure you really want to do this before proceeding.
