    I recently purchased the game pass for PC and attempted to install Forza Horizon 5 however when trying to install it, it just says "Something unexpected has happened" (Error Code: 0x000000000), this happens in both the Xbox app and store and continues to happen after a hard restart and a reset of both apps. I can assure you my rig is brand new with more than adequate specifications (RTX 3060ti, 16gb ram, 10th gen i5). I have spent the last 24 hours trying every solution on every YouTube video and forum post there is and none have worked and I do not want to have to reset my entire PC after all the installs I've done.

    The Xbox app behaves a little differently then the store though, when trying to cancel it will remove it from my installs page but it will continue to inevitably appear here:

    Additionally in the store, when trying to cancel, it glitches out when trying to cancel (on top of it reappearing on its own) and sometimes replaces the app icons with random ones such as Spotify's:

    At this point I just want to cancel the forsaken installation but I can't even do that, I am racking my brain over this and am quite disappointed at this OS's performance so far.

    Games downloaded via game pass wont open(PC)

    I had the same issue with trying to open Forza Horizon 5 from game pass, would open the microsoft store to the "gaming services" page just to tell me it's already installed. Tried multiple reboots an reinstalling the xbox app. Tried the "repair" and "reset" buttons in the app settings for Forza Horizon 5 and after a reboot the xbox app won't even recognize the game is installed, asks me to install it again and then returns an error when I try (Error code: 0x00000001)
    When I try to open the app settings for Forza Horizon 5 from the start menu now it just leads to the generic apps window and doesn't locate FH5 at all.

    so like what I just have > 100gig of dead space on my SSD now? nice

    edit: I updated windows and tried installing FH5 to a different drive, it downloaded like 100mb of data and then recognized the game and let me open it from my SSD again. weird but ok

    no, it only happens with forza horizon 5 and i don't get any error code, it just cancels the download by itself
