Forza Horizon 5 - "Make sure your subscription is active"

Does the subscription show as active here? account.microsoft.com/services

If it does, then I'll recommend you do a power cycle to clear the system cache

- Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

- Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.

If that doesn't help, I'll suggest you try doing a factory reset keeping games and apps on your console. This will refresh the console and remove all potential bugs without deleting any game data.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

- Select Reset console.

- Choose Keep Games and Apps

Once that is done, you'll need to sign into the console using your Microsoft account credentials. If the issue is with your console, that should fix it.

Game started working eventually.... just left it on the error screen and about 10 minutes later it all the sudden started to load. . Thanks for the help.

Make sure you are signed in to the Microsoft Store and Xbox app with the same account that you used to purchase Forza Horizon 5.

Check for updates for the Microsoft Store and Xbox app by going to the Microsoft Store and clicking on the three dots in the upper right corner, then selecting "Downloads and Updates". If there are updates available, install them and try launching the game again.

Restart your computer and try launching the game again.

Make sure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for Forza Horizon 5. You can find the minimum requirements on the Microsoft Store page for the game.

If you have multiple accounts on your computer, make sure you are signed in with the account that owns the game.

If you are using an Xbox Game Pass subscription to access Forza Horizon 5, make sure that your subscription is active and that you are signed in to the Microsoft Store and Xbox app with the same account that you used to purchase the subscription.

If you have tried all of the above steps and are still experiencing the issue, you may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. To do this, go to the Microsoft Store and click on the three dots in the upper right corner, then select "My Library". Find Forza Horizon 5 in the list of installed games and select "Uninstall". Once the game is uninstalled, go back to the Microsoft Store and install the game again.
