Forza horizon 5 installing from external hard drive

Hey

I have a question I would like to install forze 5 from a portable drive to my computer but something is not working.

I was at my cousin's who has bought forza horizon 5 and I copied the whole forza folder from his computer to the external drive and came back to my place.

I purchased a game pass and moved the forza folder to the folder where the game was supposed to download but the whole game kept downloading even though it was already on my computer because I moved it.

I dont know what to do because my internet is pretty slow and it would take me forever to download the game.

All of my Microsoft and Xbox games are downloaded on my external drive including the previous Horizon, which is Forza Horizon 4. I changed where new apps are stored when downloaded from the Microsoft store to my external drive but it still wont download Forza Horizon 5 to my external drive. On the Xbox app it wont show my external drive as an option to download to. I am able to download any game from the Microsoft store and Xbox app to my external drive except Forza Horizon 5.

There is a chance it will work.

But, it is not an official procedure, nor a normal procedure. So I don't guarantee it will work.

Yes, you will not be able to play and several errors will occur.

and one more question, if I logged into my account on another computer and downloaded the game to an external drive and then transferred the game to my computer from the external drive, it wouldn't work either?
