Forza Horizon 5 Freezing

Hi everyone,

I resonantly experienced some issues with FH5.

Since the games release I never had any problems with it crashing ore freezing until now. I don´t know what happened but it freezes after about 10-25 min in game.

I tryed some things you allways do if you have trouble with games, I also tryed a few things I found on this and other forums:

-restarted the game and removed it from quickresume

-obviously restarting my console many times

-searched for updates (game and console software) and installed them (problem still present)

-removed power supply from the console

-looked if it is installed on my main hard drive (yes)

-reinstalled the game

Maybe it has something to do with the "Explore The Horizons" update that arrived yesterday.

If there is anything I missed ore haven't tryed yet pleas tell me.

No sadly thats not what I did, I only used the gifting system for the Christmas events.

I try to report that problem to the devs.

There is a known issue with the car gifting system that causes the game to crash. What happens is, you get a message that you've received a gift, you go to pick it up, it says the name of the car is "DLC Car DLC Car" and it has an X where its photo should be, then when you send a thank you message, the game crashes and dumps you back at the home screen.

Obviously, you don't mention picking up a gifted car, but that is the only known issue that I'm aware of that causes the game to crash.

However, unless you can produce steps to replicate the issue, it's not going to be of much help to them unfortunately.

What you could do is play the game on a different gamertag - make a temporary one if you need to - cos if the game works fine then, it might be an account-based issue, which gives you a bit more info to include when submitting a bug report.

You've already tried the main troubleshooting steps, so I can't think of anything else to suggest.

Reviewing your post information, may I know if you tried to reinstall the game as well?
And, may I know if the issue is happening only with Forza Horizon 5 or something similar happens when you test a different game?
