Forza Horizon 5 - can't access online on child's Microsoft account despite granting full...

Just to be clear, each of you have your own individual Game Pass for PC subscriptions and are playing from separate PCs?

Hello Joanna, Thank you for your reply I am doing well and thank you for your welcome to the Xbox community.

I Purchased each our own separate Xbox game pass subscriptions for PC and we were all able to play single player, I was able to send convoy requests from my adult account but they couldn't see them.

I am going to attach some screenshots to this post to better describe the issue - Here you can see this screen should be in colour, letting you know that online is available but it is greyed out.

any attempt to click on any of the options is met with the following error message.









I have clicked allow on everything and submitted it, he has full permissions across Privacy and Windows 10 devices online safety and Xbox 360 just encase it was a setting in those tabs causing a conflict:





Sadly I have already attempted everything in the troubleshooting article I thought perhaps it was just taking a while to grant him the correct privileges but it is now the following day and we have just attempted it again to no avail.

It looks like it just took a couple of days to register the changes, that's the only thing i can think of because as if by magic it's suddenly decided to work. He woke up this morning and checked out the online tab and it was available, we just had our first race together. Thank you for your help XBF-JoannaDark, HomegrownSilky
