Forza Horizon 5 Black screen, but I get audio. Please help!!

I launch the game, I get all the way to the Xbox game studios animation, and then my screen goes black, but I still get audio. I Alt+F4 out of the game, but I still am getting the audio. I have bought the premium add-ons pack, and the game is installed on my C drive. I've tried to re-install the game, but the same thing happens, is there any workaround? Thanks.

Third-party services and programs may be causing this. If you have monitoring apps, fans/rgbs controller, broadcasting apps disable these programs, perform a clean boot and try again.

Hi,

I have the same issue as of today. The g920 works fine on Forza Horizon 4 but not on Forza Horizon 5 and slows down the game, interferes with the audio and is unresponsive.

Hello, I have the series s too, and forza horizon 4 stopped working. Whenever I pressed a on it, it would go to the black screen (the copyright stuff), then go back to the home screen. I tried restarting my xbox, reinstalling forza, reseting the console, and nothing. Idk what to do, please help me!

Please check your TV settings. Make sure that your TV is set to "Game Mode" to reduce input and audio lag because some TVs also have specific settings for audio delay that you can adjust.

Check audio output settings too. Ensure that your Xbox audio output settings match your setup (e.g., stereo, surround sound). A mismatched settings can sometimes cause delays.

And then update the game and console. Make sure both Forza Horizon 5 and your Xbox Series X are running the latest updates.

Next is to power cycle the Xbox by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds to perform a hard reset.

If the issue persists after performing the troubleshooting steps, uninstall and then reinstall Forza Horizon 5 because it can help resolve any corrupted files.
