Forza Horizon 4 PC 'Fatal Error' Game content may be missing or corrupt. Help!

, sadly the reset didn't work, so I've done an uninstall, and after a 12hr download I've now done a fresh reinstall and everything is working again now! Thank you.

First thing to do would be to try to repair or reset the app. If you go to Settings > Apps > Forza Horizon 4 then click "Advanced options" below that, it will have the option to repair or reset. First try to repair, and reboot your computer and test.
If that doesn't work, then try to reset the app. The next thing if that also doesn't work (rebooting fully between each) would be to try to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you are unable to launch the game. We recommend first trying to repair the game. When you right click on the tile of the game the repair option should be towards the bottom. If that doesn't work, you will need
to
uninstall and reinstall the gameunfortunately.

Repair is gone, huh, must have changed it since I last needed it. Reset should work, you don't need to back up anything, it's all cloud stored with Xbox unless the machine has not been connected to the internet since you've played it. Reset will check
the app package against the store and clear local data but next time you launch it should re-sync your cloud storage and not loose progress.

Thanks for your reply's, sadly i don't have a repair option only the reset, please can i ask do i need to backup before the reset? And please can you provide instructions of how i got about backing up all the necessary files for FH4 so i'm ready in case
i have to reinstall ? Thank you!
