    My son has been playing this game on Xbox one for sometime now and on Tuesday has started to get a message that parental control set for online activity. I have not changed any of his settings apart from his DOB which was 3 years less than what he is (now
    14).

    can you please advise.

    We understand that you're experiencing an issue involving the account that your son uses, to where an error appears determining parental controls over online activity.

    We suggest the following, attempt to follow our Xbox One online safety and privacy settings for parents and children support
    article which references how to adjust the Privacy and Online Safety Settings which will have a setting under the Xbox Live Privacy which allows you to customize the different account settings that you would prefer.
