Forza Horizon 4 Opens and Closes Instantly, Unable to Start a DCOM Server Error

I bought Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition last Wednesday and I have since spent a week trying to get the game to work. I left my PC on overnight to download the game, but Firefox crashed the system and interrupted the download halfway The next morning, I
booted the game up after resuming and finishing the download. The window opened, with a picture of the game for two and a half seconds, then closes. Since then, I have been scouring the internet and forums for solutions and fixes. I don't have any overclocking
software or overlays, Windows is up to date and so are my drivers but the game still closes instantly. In my event viewer, I get the Event 10001, DistributedCOM error,

Unable to start a DCOM Server: Microsoft.SunriseBaseGame_1.228.387.2_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe!SunriseReleaseFinal as Unavailable/Unavailable. The error:

I have tried to reinstall the game several times, but it still won't open, even without the DLC installed. I also tried installing another app, but that didn't help either. Another thing I tried was reinstalling Microsoft Store and the Xbox app by using
Powershell, but the game is still closing. I also tried booting the game with the internet disabled, but that didn't fix the problem. My Antivirus is AVG and the quarantine is completely empty, so it's quite clear that it's not interfering with the game. I
am signed in to my Microsoft account which is an admin account. Another thing I tried was troubleshooting the app, but it didn't solve the issue.

At this stage, I've tried pretty much everything besides a reinstall of Windows, but I don't want to go through that just to play one game. The demo worked flawlessly and I'm able to boot up and play Forza Horizon 3 for hours on end, but Forza Horizon 4
simply refuses to work no matter what solution I try.

Hi VAC9, I have sent a bug report to Forza days ago, but the Forza team emailed me saying that they won't be dealing with my case until January 7th. I have checked Reddit quite frequently, but the forums never really find a solution either, apart from reinstalling
Windows.

After googling my error, it seems that the DCOM server error has also been a problem for players in Forza Motorsport 7 and Forza Horizon 3, which is strange because my copy Horizon 3 runs perfectly.

I was having a similar issue with an xbox game recently. I had to uninstall the game, reset the console and then reinstall. I would suggest that or checking the Forza forums to see if anyone else has experienced this issue.
