Forza Horizon 4 Matchmaking and voice chat

Several issues which are more than likely related

first of all we have checked any and all possible settings/configurations on our end.

All involved parties have checked their teredo settings (able to connect + open NAT type)

All involved parties have set their IP as DMZ adress to prevent any issues related to firewalls or routers blocking matchmaking.

All involved parties have deleted their microsoft account and reinstalled it.

All involved parties have done a clean install of windows 10

isues 1:

We are experiencing extreme delays (up to 5mins or more) before we are able to connect to eachothers convoys.

After finally getting in a convoy we attempt to a Ranked Team Adventure, if we do not get a match on the first try, only the convoy leader will get the following prompts to join the ranked team adventure. All other convoy members are no longer included in
the matchmaking.

We have so far been unable to get into a single ranked team adventure with 2 or more convoy members after uncountable attempts.

issue 2:

While the option for voicechat is prominently included both within the settings and interface of the game,

noone is able to hear other parties.

This is unacceptable for a AAA title.

but before we blame the Game Devs for something that is out of their control, we believe it is an issue with Teredo.

Please look into these issues ASAP because they are putting of a lot of players from getting into a game that would otherwise be great.

Forza Horizon Xbox one.

I got Horizon on launch only played it for about 2 weeks then stopped hardly play it. Still sometimes play Forza 4 but I like Forza 5 more. Forza 5 has Playground Tag Virus something which 4 has, which is great. I use the Kinect for voice chat. Day/Night
cycles in Forza 5 AND dynamic weather would be great ideas. I have TDU2 (Test Drive Unlimited 2) which is a great driving game with all of this and more.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. The teredo error has been known to cause issues with matchmaking. The article entitled

Xbox App NAT on Windows 10 will explain more about how to troubleshoot teredo issues. The

Forza Horizon 4 forum also has information about common issues that have been occurring with the game. We recommend utilizing both of these tools to resolve the issue. Be sure to let us know the results!

 

The issue is on Xbox for Windows PC.

There is no console to unplug and all of our PC's have been clean installed and thus rebooted several times already

Secondly, we have already exhausted every single bit of documentation that microsoft has provided.

The issue is NOT and i repeat NOT on our end. Unless you wish to direct me to registry entries which might be causing issues.

Whithout knowing in detail how the backend of the matchmaking i believe the issue to be indicative of either insufficient servercapacity or a networking issue withing the matchmaking protocol.

I wrote out all our performed steps to show you that it is highly unlikely to be an issue on the end user side.

Seeing as these issues are already widely reported on several community forums and impact such a wide variety of players (with varying setups)from all over the world, just increases the odds of these issues being on your end.
