Forza Horizon 4 keeps resetting Settings

Every time I go to launch Forza, it pops up with the "Detected I can use High Preset" window, this keeps happening and the Audio also resets to the max which is so annoying. Why can't it simply remember my settings?

Forza Horizon 4 wont start

Hi Joakim,

Sorry to hear Forza Horizon keeps crashing right after the picture.
If Forza Horizon 4 is disabled from being a background app it may crash or hang when suspending and resuming. check whether the setting is set to Off: Privacy > Background apps > Forza Horizon 4 > Off. Please keep this setting On.

So, when trying to play Forza Horizon 4, the game keeps crashing even after uninstalling and reinstalling the game? Thank you for checking that the drivers and PC were updated. To perform a clean boot, check out the following link:

Hello Josh,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This game specifically has had a few issues reported. In this day and age it is quite common for new game releases to need some fine tuning before they are working at 100%.

I recommend bringing this up to the developers. here is a link to forza forums :

As far as troubleshooting goes, I recommend
deleting and reinstalling the game.

Kindly repair and reset the game via Windows Settings > Apps > search Forza Horizon 4 > Repair > Restart PC.

There's no settings to change what side of the road you drive on, if the games locations is set to a country where they drive on the left, then you drive on the left, if it's set to a country where they drive on the right, you drive on the right,

Forza Horizon is set in the USA and drives on the right,

Forza Horizon 2 is set in Europe and drives on the right,

Forza Horizon 3 is set in Australia and drives on the left,

Forza Horizon 4 is set in the UK and drives on the left,

and where ever Forza Horizon 5 will be set, we'll drive to that country's side of the road.
