Forza Horizon 4 : impossible to connect me to Microsoft

Hi all,

First, sorry for my english, it's not my language.

I bought Forza Horizon 4 a few weeks ago on Steam.

When I launch the game, I clic on the button "Start". At this moment, it open a small Microsoft login window. And I have two possibility in this windows :

First : I can clic on my Microsoft account

Second : I can clic on "connect an other account"

If I clic on my account, the same windows come back again and again.

If I clic on "connect an other account", this closes that window and opens a message that says: you cannot continue without being logged into a profile.

And if I leave this window, I have the same message : you cannot continue without being logged into a profile.

Can somebody help me ? I have been looking for a solution for more than two weeks... I just fed up with this problem.

Thanks for your answer, I just want to play with this Wireless Speed Wheel on my Xbox One, game Forza Horizon 4, and impossible for me to find the way to connect it.

I am having the same issue and I haven't had any luck finding a fix. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Forza, logging out of and back into all Microsoft apps (store, Xbox companion app, game bar), linking my Steam account to my Microsoft account, and more to no avail.

About to just ask for a refund...

I made the changes, but it doesn't work either

Go to Windows Update and look for updates, update everything, including optional updates.

Then press the Windows Button then type Services.

Right-click over the Services App from the list of results.

Then select Run as Administrator

Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

IP Helper

Xbox Live Auth Manager,

Xbox Live Game Save,

Xbox Live Networking Service,

Gaming Services.

Do this with each of the services listed above.

Right-click over the service and select Properties.

Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic.

If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services.

Click Apply and OK to save changes.

Then restart your PC and try again, please

For me, the refund does not seem possible, because I bought the game more than 2 weeks ago ... Thanks the refund's conditions of Steam which doesn't care of the problems.
