forza horizon 4 formatted my ssd

    I'v got no idea how to describe it and which category I should post this question, or more like a report.

    It's not killed but still completely cleared, my 1tb ssd that I bought about a month ago

    What I did is simply installing fh4 on my d drive.

    And then, everything is gone. I know it sounds a bit funny but it's exactly what happened. I checked my xbox application once to see how much time remains and the installation was stopped. I thought it might be a error or something and tried once again to
    install the game, choose d drive and noticed that the drive is empty, as if there's nothing inside.

    Both partitions are empty and they have some NTFS under their name, guess they are formatted into NTFS.

    I get the same results on disk management too.

    Maybe it's not on fh4 or xbox windows at all, but nothing else I come with.

    Somehow I managed to get into both drives, after restarting windows and googling about cases like me. Nothing got better though.

    Now Im trying to restore my data via recuva.

    Any idea how this happened and would anyone tell me if it's a known issue?

    I've never imagined getting my entire external ssd washed and even by trying installing a game.

    I'VE FOUND IT GUYS!!! this worked for me like a charm. just change the regional format to the desired language, as stated in this link:

    Granted, you be stuck in a horrible format, like me stuck in this **** twelve-hour-day-month-before-day hell that is the american format, but at least I dont have to rely on crappy local dubs anymore, thanks!

    The guide above talks only about Forza, but I can confirm it worked for other games, like metro: exodus and wolfenstein 2.

    forza horizon 4 expansion bundle

    forza horizon 4 and the expansion installed on my other PC just now fine. there has got to be a way to fix to install on my PC with the EVGA 1080ti and 5K monitor. that PC boots to an M.2 drive so I have the store installing games on a new crusial SSD.
    Ive thought about uninstalling and re installing forza H 4 but Im afraid it might not install again. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

    Why I cannot install Forza Horizon 4

    Thanks for the response, it seems to force me to download "Forza Horizon 4" first. When I click pause it's download and then try to start download on "Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition" it stays at "Downloading" and starts Downloading process of "Forza Horizon 4". I also tried logging into my account on different computer which worked.
