Forza Horizon 4 Expansion Pass pricing

We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning the Forza Horizon 4 Expansion Pass
and its pricing compared to the total price of the Expansions together.

A few things here, as mentioned by our ambassador, the Expansion 2 does not currently have a price listed for it as it is only included within the bundle.

The reduced price is provided through the Xbox Live Gold membership. It will state,
"NZ$34.95 with Xbox Live Gold (Go Gold) or NZ$69.90." If you're asking about this price reduction, you would need to ensure that there is an active Xbox Live membership on the account to take advantage of this deal.

Clarify this for us through a reply, we'll await your response.

In the US the pricing is $19.99 for Expansion 1 and $34.99 for the Expansion Pass. I will be very surprised if Expansion 2 costs anything other than $19.99. In the US the Expansion Pass represents a 12.5% saving.

If you look at Australia (or any other region), Expansion 1 costs $29.95 and the Expansion Pass costs $56.95. In other words less than double the price of Expansion 1.

I am aware there is currently an international week long sale on the Expansion Pass for those with a current Xbox Live Gold subscription. That doesn't change the fact that in a weeks time the price will return to $69.90, or that those without an active
Xbox Live Gold subscription still have to pay $69.90.

Can you assure me that if I purchase the Expansion Pass for $69.90 today, that if when the pricing of Expansion 2 is set and it is anything less than $40, that I will be refunded the difference + 1 cent?

I truly believe this is a pricing mistake for the New Zealand region. Mistakes are permissible under New Zealand law, but must be corrected when pointed out, otherwise they are breach of the
Fair Trading Act. Specifically the misleading information of
"Get two game expansions at a reduced price!" which actually results in paying a very likely additional $10.10.

Current exchange rates, discounted GamePass prices and Xbox Live Gold sale prices are all irrelevant.

Thank you for informing me that Microsoft are in no way responsible for mistakes in pricing on the Microsoft store. I think you may find you are wrong about that.

I also think you will find it is the publishers that are in charge of pricing, not the developers. So in this case I will take the matter up with Microsoft Studios.

Does the second Expansion Pass have a confirmed price yet? Last I saw it didn't have one yet.

Also I think the bundle is on sale right now for roughly the price of just one expansion, if you have Xbox Live Gold.
