Forza Horizon 4 does not work on this specific account (infinite login)

Hello,

I am unable to play FH4 on this account. The game launches, gets to the title screen, where you are asked to press a key. After I press the key, the game displays a 'Loading...please wait' message in the lower right corner, and my player name in the lower
left corner, but then just keep 'loading' indefinitely.

It seems this is a problem with my account, because I have created a new one, which works just fine.

Can somebody from support take a look at this please?

OS: Windows 10

Platform: Xbox Live for Windows 10

Edit: To clarify - I have been playing FH4 since release without any problems, the issue appeared just this Monday. Right after I bought the Edinburgh Castle too...

Can you please be more specific?

Did you download a game and it is not showing up?

Or are you referring to Forza Horizon 4. If it is Forza Horizon 4 you still need to go and down load it. The betas does not automatically download the new game.

Is it possible that you are using Windows Defender by any chance? If so, I would suggest restarting that and then trying to load FH4.

To add, this could be an issue that has likely occurred from numerous things. For example, this could be RAM issue which is causing the loading screen to get stuck. This issue has also been attributed to making the game crash after 5-10 minutes of game time.

here. Please read carefully, as this thread may have a fix for your issue. If not, then please respond to this reply and let me know if it didn't work so that we might get this fixed.

No, I am using AVG. I turned it off, but that did not help.

The thread you posted is for a different problem altogether. I don't have problems with crashing, nor freezing. Moreover, I am able to run the game and login successfully with a different account, which suggests the problem is with my account itself, not
with my hardware or software.

The only thing I can now suggest is that you just reset your game by going to your settings on your PC. This has
been known to resolve this problem.

 

If this is the case, then the last resort is to have a look at Forza's Support Page > Forza Horizon 4 – Forza Support

Sorry for not being much help on this, but this account issue could be from Microsoft's side or on Forza's side.
