    Forza Horizon 4 DLC 1 Fortune Island installation stops


    I have been trying to download the fortune island dlc but its stops every time at 4.5gb out of 7gb. I have cancelled the download and restarted it,i have deleted save game data and restarted it, also hove deleted the entire game completely and reinstalled
    (which took around 8 hours) and regardless its the same issue every time, says installation stopped then try again later. Error code 0x87e0000f. I have been trying this over the past 3 days and i am completely over it and nothing works.

    Please help as i have paid for the ultimate edition and its just a complete waste of money if i cant play it

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand your having trouble accessing Fortune Island DLC for Forza Horizon 4 is that correct? I recommend you try to Uninstall the whole game and install it again with all the Add-Ons
    attached. Once you have it installed again go into your "Games & Apps" and press the menu button (three little lines) on the picture for Forza Horizon 4. Go to where it says "Manage Game & Add-ons" once in there see if the Fortune Island content is installed.
    You can also go to the Forza Horizon 4 Community Forums to see if they have more information or help on how to access the content.

    Currently there is a service alert for the service affecting purchasing and downloading, but you say it's been going on 3 days no so it's possible the console is having trouble connecting properly to Xbox Live.

    Go ahead and
    hard reset and power cycle your Xbox    . This will fully reset the power unit and clean out system cache. After you reboot your Xbox, go into your Network settings and run the detailed network statistics test and the multiplayer connection test.
