    Forza Horizon 4 disconnecting from live sessions (PC)


    Been getting back into FH4 and wanting to complete the weekly challenges, however I keep on disconnecting midway through the first online event. While in the 'free-roam' mode the game continuously connects and disconnects from a 'live' server - that is if
    it can connect in the first event. The game also suffers noticeable 'lag' while connecting and disconnecting which is not present while in 'off-line' mode. I have tried suggestions from previous threads, however have not found anything that works or is recent.
    Important to note that the PC is not disconnecting from the internet as no issues are present on games like Overwatch or for streaming services on in the background.

    Any suggestions to fix would be helpful as I would love to access the full game

    I've tried various suggestions regarding Teredo and FH4 but this one (touch wood) worked for me:

    Open command prompt as admin. Type:

    netsh int ipv6 set teredo client teredo.trex.fi

    Easy to say. Tell what it is how to get into it... I'm new to this game especially Forza. Step by step not just like go and put in elevated command prompt you mean in-game or you widows wise? What is that. I paid, I shouldn't consider my own time in fixing
    pre-paid game where I paid developers to do so, no matter by the region.

    What server is teredo currently using?

    also, just a theory of mine, which windows build are you using. My teredo server was set to the 1910 build but we’re now on 2004 so i think thats where this bug comes from; windows didnt update this setting.

    check your build with ctrl r and then type winver

    Nice one bud. Havent had a chance to fully test whether it's working yet but it looks good after a few minutes. Msft... please address this !

    Just to help others... mine was set to

    win1910.ipv6.microsoft.com

    changing to

    win10.ipv6.microsoft.com

    seems to have fixed... fingers crossed.

    N.b. I'm running win build 2004 so maybe the old 1910 build number was left over some how

    Same here, its not your Internet, its the cloud save I think. You would have thought ms would have sorted this by now.
