Forza Horizon 4 Demo crashing / closing on startup...

So... I've been having issues with trying to get Forza Horizon 3 to work on my Windows 10 PC for many months now, to the point where I have given up and just uninstalled it. Then the Forza Horizon 4 Demo gets released, so I download that to only come across
the same issue. The problem is that I press to launch the game and the window shows up for a moment, the background of the window turns black for a few seconds, then grey, and then it just closes. I have already uninstalled it and reinstalled it and now I'm
beginning to think there won't be a fix for this either.

download the Forza Horizon 4 Demo before the Early Access starts September 28 for the customers that

pre-ordered the Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition digital bundle.

Thanks for the reply. However, I have tried everything from the link you have provided but I'm still having the same issue, even after installing the windows update and enabling Game Mode. I also don't believe I'm having issues regarding system requirements.
I have:

Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 TI

Intel I7 6700K

16GB DDR4 3000mhz RAM

MSI Gaming M7 Motherboard

If this is happening even after you've uninstalled and reinstalled it, I would try giving this page a look through.

game won’t start, or it freezes or crashes" tab, but every solution it has to offer suggests something I have already tried, and I'm assuming I'm not banned or anything because I haven't even had chance to play the game yet. In addition, the Forza Horizon
4 Demo does actually work on my Xbox One that I have, just not on my Windows 10 PC for some reason, so I'm guessing it can't be something relating to my account. I have also tried signing in as a different user on the Xbox app and I still get the same problem.

I have the same issue. My game crashes after launch. Have tried reinstalling.

 

Facing the same issue and this is frustrating after paying forbthe game and early access, yrt you can't play the game when you want to.

 

I have the exact same problem. So frustrating!

 

It was msi afterburner and riva stats tuner for me, i stopped it and it works perfectly. So shut it down and hopefully it works for you.

I have MSI afterburner installed on my computer, but I never have it load up when my computer boots up. Does it run as a process in the background that I will have to disable, or did you just mean shut it down if the program is physically open?

 

Shut it down completely even from system tray as it opens in background on windows startup. So make sure its off.

 

Okay, I've made sure that MSI Afterburner isn't running in the system tray and have removed all instances of MSI processes in task manager,I've even disabled it in Windows Task Scheduler but the game still seems to be crashing on startup. I've also just
received an update for the Forza Horizon 4 Demo but that also hasn't seemed to have changed anything either. I do have a feeling it has something to do with a program or service conflicting with the game, now that you've mentioned it, or even my McAfee anti-virus
software, as it can sometimes be known for conflicting with other programs. I appreciate the suggestion though, hopefully it will help someone.
