Forza Horizon 4 crash when i try to load in the game

If Forza Horizon 4 is disabled from being a background app it may crash or hang when suspending and resuming. check whether the setting is set to Off: Privacy > Background apps > Forza Horizon 4 > Off. Please keep this setting On.

If this is the only game that seems to be crashing when in use next to OBS, it might be best solved by the developer of Forza Horizon 4.

In this case, is this the only game that is experiencing a crash with the OBS system or are there others that do so as well?

You can try to find the crash logs on the Windows software known as Event Viewer. There, find Forza Horizon 4 and check what's the crash log around the time the game stopped working.

That is right but Microsoft can perform troubleshooting if you're playing the game on Xbox app or if you purchased the game on MS store. If you purchase the game on steam and you're having issues playing it on steam, you'll need to contact them for more extensive troubleshooting steps. You may also want to try reinstalling the game.
