    Forza Horizon 4 - Cannot install via Xbox nor Windows Store


    Hi there,

    I cannot seem to install Forza Horizon 4 anymore. It also has dissapeared in the Xbox Game app where you can find the games you own. I've purchased it back in 2020. I've pretty much tried everything I could find to solve this problem but it either keeps saying 'Something is wrong on our end' (Windows Store) or error code: 0x80070005.

    Deleted all the folders on my G:\ drive to reinstall everything. Still no avail. Forza Horizon 5 is installing without problems.

    What can I do to solve this?

    Yes this is what I have installed now:

    Edition Windows 10 Home

    Version 21H2

    Installed on ‎05/‎10/‎2022

    OS build 19044.2075

    Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0

    I've tried to reinstall today but didn't help either. It also happens with Forza Horizon 3.

    Ok I managed to get and install Forza Horizon 4 demo (don't have enough space for the full version) on my C:\ (Windows OS) drive. So don't know what's going on with installing Forza Horizon 4 on another drive.

    Hello Max, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H2.

    If you haven't updated yet, click the link below, update, and make all subsequent security updates.

    Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

    Also installed the Xbox Companion App. OS should be up to date now. Installing other apps / games is no problem.

    Reinstalling Xbox app had no effect. Another interesting thing, I cannot see Forza Horizon 4 in my "Installed apps" in Microsoft Store.
