Forza Horizon 3 (V.1.0.112.0) on Xbox One S: Crash on "Press A to start" when using a minor ...

The previous version of Forza Horizon 3 worked as expected on both my daughter's (minor) account and my (adult) account.

We have our accounts as Family on this Xbox as the base/home Xbox.

After the update on Jan 18th to V.1.0.112.0, the game now quits back to the initial Xbox screen once she presses A to start at the prompt to do so. We can briefly see the greeting message "Welcome, her_nametag" and then a black screen and back it goes to
the initial Xbox screen.

This is also happening now even on PC with Forza Horizon 3 V.1.0.101.2 where I tried to use her account and see if it was an account issue or a game (version) issue. On PC the same thing now happens, where the game quits/exits as soon as she presses ENTER
to start.

I've tried a bunch of things:

uninstall+reinstall all (FH3+HotWheels), uninstall HotWheels

changing her age restrictions and various others, like more Xbox Live permissive settings, etc but nothing helped

I remember the 1st time she tried to play FH3, it requested an adult (me) to give the permission, as expected, to which I gave "forever" for this game.

Today, I tried one last setting change, since her account was the only one with issues (since this happened, she started the game from scratch with her mother's account).

I tried to change her account from Minor to Teenager (didn't help).

Then tried to change to Adult ...and it "fixed" the issue on her account.

Now, the problem is, I don't want her account to have "Adult" online privacy and security level!! which FH3 is now forcing me to do after this latest update.

I even tried to use personalize the "Adult" to tone it down from "everyone" to just "friends" (which basically is our family accounts) but as soon as I don't use the preset "Adults" FH3 won't work again.

This is frustrating. Got the Xbox for her mostly because of this game (she's even buying a steering wheel for it tomorrow) and the game is now kinda broken for her account, after the update.

Will this be addressed soon?!

Game crashes after new UI update

I have Forza Horizon 3 digitally, after the new UI update, when I get on the game and "Press A to start" the game will load for a second then crash. I have tried power cycling the console and that has not worked.

 

GAME WILL NOT START ON BUILD 14942

Same issue here on build 14931. GoW4 and Forza Horizon 3 will crash on start. But Forza Motorsport 6 Apex will run without problem.
