    Forza Horizon 3 PC - Multiplayer Question


    I couldn't find the answer online and hope someone can point me to the right place.

    I used it own an Xbox 360 but never got an Xbox One but I'm very interested in buy Forza Horizon 3 for my PC.

    Will I be able to play online or must I also buy Xbox Live Gold?

    If I buy an $80 game (Canadian) I'm not going to spend another $60 on buying Live just to play it online.

    It will be a real shame if this is necessary for PC gamers that want to just pickup one Microsoft game.

    Xbox Play Anywhere Clarification

    It's up to the developers - for example GoW4 will allow PC/XB1 CO-OP play, not competitive multiplayer.

    Meanwhile Forza Horizon 3 will support PC/XB1 in all game modes.

    If you want to play the game online multiplayer then you will need to have a Gold membership.

    Forza Horizon 3 PC - Multiplayer Question

    Hey Blood Toxin, that information is still current. You won't need Gold for online play on a PC. Gold is only a requirement on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

    With Forza Horizon 3 specifically, you would be able to play with Xbox One players both in campaign/co-op and multiplayer competitive without paying for Gold.
