Forza Horion 5 doesn't launch

Hello,

I bought and played Forza Horizon 5 since 5 november. I tried to launch it today but it redirect me on this page of the microsoft store : the microsoft games services.

I tried to restart my computer, check if i have updates to do but there's nothing. I already installed the application wich microsoft store is redirecting me.

I never had issues with the game or other microsoft store's games before. I just didn't play it for a couple days and now i can't launch it.

If anyone know what to do, i'd be glad to know.

Hi,

I tried your solutions but unfortunately no one works.

I re-installed the game and i can launch it now so problem solved.

I had this issue because i change the game language (french to english). After I re-installed it, i try to change my windows language and i had the same problem, had to re-install the game.

Thank you for your help and if anyone had this problem after change the language you have to re-install the game.

Follow these steps, if one doesn't work, move on to the other.

1. Open Windows Update and look for updates, update everything, including optional updates. Restart to apply updates and try again.

2. Press Windows Key + i and go to apps, search for ''gaming services'' click ''advanced options'' and then ''terminate, repair and reset. Try again, please.

3. Launch PowerShell as an administrator and enter

“get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers”

Restart your PC, open PowerShell as admin again, and enter

“start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN”

The Microsoft Store will open and ask to install Gaming Services, install. Then try running the game again.

Is this happening only with Forza Horizon 5?

Where is the game installed, on C: drive or a different one?

Are you on Windows 10 or 11?

Apart from reinstalling the game, resetting and repair which additional troubleshooting steps you have done so far?
