Forza Hoirzon 3 - Which version is Win10 compatible

I'm super excited for the upcoming release of the latest in the horizon series and i want to be able to play against my friends which is now possible thanks to the crossplay but i want to know if i can only purchase the base game only to use on my windows
10 machine, i ask this as i would want the fullfat ultimate package but i read somewhere that i need the digital version only rather than the physical disc.

Can someone clarify this for me?

Forza Motorsport 3 DLC

Yes, the DLC for Forza 3 has been removed from the marketplace.

There is no official word on if/when any previous versions of Forza will be made backwards compatible, but since there are newer versions I highly doubt they will.

 

Forza Horizon 4 Xbox disc version und pc version?

Für das Spiel Forza Horizon 4 (disc version), sah ich im Netz öfters das Cover mit der Aufschrift "Nur für Xbox One Konsole". Bedeutet das, dass ich das Spiel dann nur auf Xbox spielen kann, da es doch hies, dass man das Spiel sowohl auf Xbox als auch Win10

Only the digital version of Forza Horizon 3, bought on Xbox One, would allow you to also download the game on Windows 10. It is a Play Anywhere title, meaning that when bought (digitally) on one platform it's accessible on both.

This offer does not extend to disc-based copies of the game.

Thanks for you reply, I'm struggling to find out if the basic option is the only digital copy or if the middle option is also? I have already assumed ultimate isn'tisn't as it sounds as if it comes in a presentation tin

 

All three digital versions of Forza Horizon 3 are supported by Play Anywhere and playable on both Xbox One and Windows 10.

There's a digital Ultimate Edition which allows users to play the game on the 23rd September, a few days before official release:

This digital Ultimate bundle is a download and not disc-based. There may be a different 'Ultimate' bundle at retail, I'm not sure.
