Forza Games for Gold download

hello. i rented this game a few months ago and loved it, so i was thrilled when it was on Games for Gold. unfortunately, after i downloaded it and played it once, it won't let me play it again. every time i try and start it up, it says, "if you have the
game disc, insert it now. if there's no disc, make sure you're signed into Xbox Live. if you don't have the rights for playing it, you'll need to try and buy it at the Xbox Store".

well, i'm signed in, have Gold and everything is the same as the last time i played it. any ideas?

Newbie help on Xbox

Buy Gold from CDkeys and download this months games with gold including Forza Horizon. Also download the Forza Horizon Demo.
You need gold to play online same as PS+.
Buy EA Access for £20 and you get access to 25 Games which include great games like Titanfall, Battlefield and Plants vs Zombies.

For about £50 you can get access to nearly 30 games to start you off and get an idea on what games take your fancy.

 

Gold Membership not working despite having an active subscription.

Okay it seems like I can download Games with Gold but when I try to join the multiplayer in Forza it says I need to buy Gold.

 

FM5 was never a "Games for Gold" game. It was available for a single weekend to Xbox Live Gold Members as a preview and a promotion since Horizon 2 was coming out soon. That weekend has come and gone and now you need to purchase the full game in order to
keep playing.
