Forza DX12?

I done Google search about Forza 6 and DX12 and apparently Turn 10 posted on the Forza forums saying Forza 6 wouldn't be using DX12 so it was just another rumour.

Again I don't know what/if any benefits DX12 will bring to the table but talking of Forza ...

When Forza 6 was announced not so long back I remember reading some tweets the next day, I think it was even posted on here that ...

"Forza 6 was rumoured to be the first/first party game to use DX12 on Xbox One" ..

I know E3 is suppose to be the place where we will see gameplay footage of Forza 6, hear more information about it but I wonder if it will use DX12?

Hello Ginnyb123, from what said your computer has the latest updates and all the drivers updated right, already tried to downgrade from Direct X12 to 11, sometimes there may be some incompatibility with some new Windows update, and give this error.

Try uninstalling Direct X 12 and installing 11 to see how it behaves.

Turn 10 did exactly that with Forza 5. It took them 4 months to make a DX12 build and they demo'd it running Titan Blacks rather than on a One. Why?

I have no doubt DX12 will improve gaming performance in newer hardware on PC's, it's always done it in the past. I'm not expecting to see much on current hardware.

the question wasnt really the resolution for the DX12 on forza rand... it was the fact a group of guys ported it to PC using DX12 in only a few man hours...
