    Forza 7 reduced power


    While playing forza 7 on my xbox x, from time to time it will randomly go into what I would describe as reduced power mode. The engine won't rev and in fact will just keep reducing power til the car hardly moves. I have two identical rigs and the second one has never done it. What can I do to fix the issue?

    Just to confirm, this message appears only inside Forza Motorsport 7. Right?

    If yes, can you share screenshots or a video about this problem?

    I was checking the known issues for the game... and nothing like this is listed

    Also, did you tried connecting the accessory to a different USB port to see if that helps?

    Or what did you tried so far to fix this problem?

    No It can do 1080 on forza 5 so it can do it. Developers are not correctly utilizing the esram and cloud computing. Also Ms may reduce the kinect requirement from 10% to 2% of the gpu to increase power.

    most games on the x run at 30fps with checkerboard or dynamic 4k not true 4k, the odd game like forza can do checkerboard 4k and 60fps but thats it, some games give you the option to run at 60fps with reduced resolution. the x hardware is not that powerful.

    Try clearing the cache of your console by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds.

    If that doesn't work, try reinstalling forza 7 and it's dlc.

    SO since 1 month when I have been playing games on my laptop especially valorant, I have been experiencing FPS lag from 120 fps to 10 fps when I get in combat.

    whats the model of laptop, some come with software to reduce power usage and in turn will reduce performance.
